 Creating a Photo Gallery and uploading photos to it Minimize

Follow these steps to create your own gallery and upload photos to it. 

TIP:  You can click the Printer icon at the bottom right to print these instructions.


1.  Navigate to the specific category where you wish to place your photos, such as Implement Photos. 

2.  Below the photos there you will see:  Add new gallery  

3.  Click that that link to create a new gallery to store your photos in.

4.  That will open a form titled:  Gallery Settings

5.  In the Title window, type in a title for this gallery, such as "Kent's New Implement"

6.  In the text editor form down below that, type in a one-sentence description of this gallery.  (NOTE: Be careful not to include blank spaces at the end of your description or they will show up as "&nbsp" when the gallery is displayed.)

7.  Below the editor form, specify when the pictures were taken.

8.  Click the Update link at the bottom center of the screen to store this information, and you'll return to the category screen showing your empty gallery.

9.  Click the link for the empty gallery that you just added.  This will display your new, empty gallery and its description.

10.  At the bottom, you will see: Add content  

11.  Click that link to add the first picture to your gallery.  This will display the Upload Content form.

12.  On the

to the cateory screen showing your gallery with the picture in it that you just added. 

16.  Repeat steps 9-15 until you've uploaded all the pictures that you'd like for this gallery.

17.  If you see ;&nbsp displayed in the descriptions for either your photo gallery or a photo, you can edit that out by selecting the appropriate Edit link, then view and edit the description as HTML. There's two tabs at the bottom of the text input box --  Design and HTML. Click the HTML tab, edit as needed, then click the Update link at the bottom.  Note that you can preview your descriptions using the Preview link at the bottom also.
