Hi all, i have about 35 hours on my 1430.  When i get to the 50 hour mark i have to change the filter.  After the filter is changed, i know i have to bleed the air out with the hose that PT supplied me i want to make sure that  i attach it to the correct port.  i remember someone inadvertenly adjusting the wrong port so i want to prevent this from happening to me and others if this is standard with the other pts as well. Is the port i circled in red the correct one to attach the hose to bleed the air out of? thanks in advance.

From your picture, I'm 90% sure you're right - they changed the pump manufacturer a while back, and I believe the different sizes have different models too. If it acts as it's supposed to (some air bubbles, then oi, then only oil), I'd say 99%. The maintenance book drawing should look pretty close to your picture. Also, the right port will likely have a cap screwed over a male hydraulic hose fitting [looks like the only one in your picture; I have 3 on my older 2445].

Finally, the port of interest should read the correct pressure listed in your manual (likely several hundred psi - not thousand, for a charge pump if that's the port they're using). You can get a couple gages Ώ,000 and 10,000], for less than $20 each at many auto stores, but you may not be as curious as I am about such things. Unless you buy more than one or know someone with a test setup, I'm a bit leary of the acurracy of the cheapos anyway.
