We estimated the trunk around 2000lb; certainly put a load on the lift system, but got it up no problem.

I did push a tire off it's bead trying to articulate through some trees allowing only about 3/4 my loaded width.  But fully loaded and articulating without forwad motion -  that was my mistake.  A couple strap ties (to compress the tire) and an air tank had it back up in no time!
