Ok guys,

I plan to make a bucket grapple using square tube iron and some other stuff I have laying around. As I don't have a welder I'm at the mercy of nuts, bolts and drilling holes. So I need to be somewhat creative. I have been dying to try a linear actuator for a while now. So I went ahead and bought one for my project. Rated for a 600 lb load, and with a 6 inch stroke. this will be a light duty grapple for sure.

I know solid steel and hydraulics would work better, but like J.J. would say. I'll make it with what I have handy. As soon as I start, hopefully this weekend. I'll take come pictures as I go and see what you guys think... It may not be pretty but if it functions. I’ll be happy.
